Game Wallpapers – SD & HD Desktop Wallpapers
Game Wallpapers for your desktop
Recently I have added a whole fresh batch of game wallpapers to the wallpaper rotation on my laptop. On my laptop I have Windows 7 and by now you all know it supports wallpaper rotation. What I have in my list is a massive folder of over a thousand different game themed wallpapers. I joined deviantART a few days ago and immediately found out it was a pretty good resource for all things pictographic. Here’s a few of the game wallpapers that I added to my collection in the last hour.
Game wallpapers include:
- Final Fantasy
- Zelda
- Mario
- Kingdom Hearts
- Mario
- Pokemon
- Okami
- and more…
Final Fantasy VII Wallpapers
Final Fantasy is one of my favorite games of all times and Final Fantasy VII is my favorite of all the FF games. I spent entire days leveling materia, splitting it, leveling it again until I had multiples of them all. I worked out perfect materia combinations for every eventuality. Weeks spent grinding levels, finding nuts and racing chocobos just so I could have the perfect Golden Chocobo, and then starting again with a plain yellow one just so you could get higher stats next time.
I have spent months with this game over the years, multiple playthoughs – each clocking in at roughly 60+ hours each.
With Cloud and Sephiroth both being in my top 10 game characters of all time list this wallpaper hit me like a Meteor (or Ultima depending on which side you favor). My wallpaper collection already has a ton from the Final Fantasy games and it now has even more.
The Black Wing is pretty striking in game when you first see it and it’s done pretty well in this game wallpaper of Genesis from Crisis Core.
The Legend of Zelda Wallpapers
Another one of my absolute favorite games of all time. Playing Zelda on the NES is one of my earliest memories, playing A Link to the Past on the SNES with my Uncle and Cousin are some of my fondest childhood memories.
The latest game: Skyward Sword brought a lot of new things to the franchise and the more recent ‘Hyrule Historia” answered thousands of questions about the timeline of the games – filling in backstory of a lot of the other characters. All of that as well as the latest stories on ‘Link to the Past on 3DS remake VS Majora’s Mask on 3DS remake’ is why game was on the forefront of my mind.
It’s not been long since I played Skyward Sword but I was amazed at how fresh the colors looked – this wallpaper shows that completely.
The cover art from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess was pretty epic. It was gold and silver, shiny and grungy at the same it. It rocked and so does this Skyward Sword game wallpaper.
